Evans EMAD2 Clear Bass Drum Heads are similar to the original EMAD Clear, but this model features two plies of film - 6.5mil and 10mil - that make it even more durable. This head is versatile, fitting appropriately into any genre that needs a healthy dose of articulation and volume.

The Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping system - or EMAD - affects how much attack and resonance the head produces without having to remove the head itself. Think of it like a circular pillow.
