This model is part of the Beauty of the Burst series, referencing the specific Page 40 sunburst from Yasuhiko Iwanade's iconic book. Constructed with a 1-piece lightweight mahogany body and a beautifully figured AAA flame maple top, it’s finished in a VOS (Vintage Original Spec) nitrocellulose lacquer that replicates the subtle aging of a well-preserved original. The long tenon neck is carved to the sought-after Carmelita profile (.860"/.975"), with an Indian rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays made of celluloid nitrate for true historical accuracy.

Electronically, it’s loaded with double uncovered Custombuckers paired with paper-in-oil capacitors and hand-wired CTS 500K audio taper potentiometers, delivering the kind of dynamic vintage tone that put the 'Burst on the map. The classic ABR-1 bridge, lightweight aluminum stop bar tailpiece, and Kluson Deluxe tuners round out the period-correct hardware, while the Gold Top Hat knobs and amber switch tip add the finishing aesthetic touches.
