An Iconic Epiphone Classic Returns to its American Roots. Originally launched in 1958, the Epiphone Coronet became one of the brand’s most enduring and beloved solid-body electric guitars, and now it’s back and crafted in the USA once again. This latest Coronet pays homage to its classic 1958-1959 design, with its signature symmetrical double-cutaway mahogany body, three-on-a-side headstock with the iconic “Bikini” badge, and retro pickguard shape. Modern touches enhance its performance, including a slightly wider nut (1.695”), a comfortable SlimTaper™ neck profile, and a lighter, balanced feel thanks to a slimmer body depth (1.375”). A Graph Tech® nut and a single, vintage-inspired P-90 Soapbar pickup complete this reissue, delivering the punchy tones and raw character that made the original a favorite of legends like Jimi Hendrix, Steve Marriott, Johnny Marr, and Marshall Crenshaw.
