The Gibson ES-330 is celebrated for its unique sound, comfortable feel, and timeless style, making it a favorite for players after a versatile, vintage-inspired ES™-style guitar. Closely related to the Epiphone Casino™, the ES-330 has a lightweight, fully hollow thinline body crafted from 3-ply maple/poplar/maple. This hollow body, paired with a trapeze tailpiece and a deep-set neck for an optimal bridge position, gives the guitar exceptional resonance and warmth. The mahogany neck, shaped with a comfortable Rounded “C” profile, features a rosewood fretboard with small block acrylic inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets. The 12” fretboard radius ensures smooth playability, whether strumming clean, bright chords near the nut or bending notes high up on the neck. The trapeze tailpiece adds visual charm and tonal depth, while the fully adjustable ABR-1 bridge provides precise intonation. Vintage Deluxe tuners with white buttons and a Graph Tech® nut further enhance tuning stability.

The ES-330’s sound is driven by dual Dogear P-90 pickups, wired with 500k potentiometers and Orange Drop® capacitors, delivering crisp, clear cleans and a gritty, snarling tone when overdriven. Although fully hollow, the ES-330 can manage feedback surprisingly well with careful muting, allowing for a rich, sustained tone that stands out. Ideal for blues, Americana, ‘60s pop, country, jazz, and rock, the ES-330 is as at home on stage and in the studio as it is as a songwriting companion. Many consider it the perfect “couch guitar,” as its sound shines even when unplugged.
