This model brings back the timeless design that made the SG legendary, enhanced with the expressive Maestro Vibrola tailpiece — complete with the classic Lyre engraving — for tasteful vibrato effects and unmistakable retro flair. A osewood fingerboard crowns the fast-playing SlimTaper™ mahogany neck, while the deeply contoured mahogany body remains true to the original 1961 profile, giving players comfortable access all the way to the 22nd fret.

Equipped with a pair of 60s Burstbucker™ humbuckers, this SG offers a bold, articulate voice with vintage warmth and clarity, while hand-wired electronics and Orange Drop® capacitors ensure rich tonal nuance and responsiveness. The traditional ABR-1 bridge and Vintage Deluxe tuners add tuning stability and sustain, rounding out a guitar that’s both visually stunning and ready for the stage. This classic reissue is available now at Haggerty’s Music and comes complete with a Gibson hardshell case.
