The Gibson Songwriter EC Custom, available now at Haggerty's Music, is a remarkable acoustic that blends timeless craftsmanship with modern style. Originally introduced in 2003, this model combines Gibson's vintage-inspired bracing patterns from the 1930s with their sleek, modern dreadnought body shape, delivering rich, well-balanced tonal quality. The solid Sitka spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides enhance the warmth and projection, while the cutaway body provides easy access to higher frets on the comfortable ebony fretboard and mahogany neck with a round profile.

This custom version of the Songwriter features Les Paul Custom-style aesthetics, including a stunning Ebony nitrocellulose lacquer finish, multi-ply binding, and a Les Paul-style peghead adorned with a mother of pearl split diamond inlay. The bound ebony fretboard also boasts mother of pearl Custom Block inlays, while the gold Grover Rotomatic tuners ensure tuning stability with precision. For exceptional amplification, it’s equipped with L.R. Baggs Session VTC electronics and includes a hardshell case for protection. The Songwriter EC Custom is the perfect companion for both songwriting and stage performances, offering classic Gibson quality with eye-catching style.
