Dressed in a 3-Color Sunburst gloss finish and paired with a fast-playing maple fingerboard, this bass captures the timeless look and tone of Fender’s most iconic design, while introducing contemporary upgrades for enhanced playability and tonal control.

The comfortable Modern “C” maple neck features a smooth satin urethane finish on the back and a 9.5” radius maple fingerboard with rolled edges, making it ideal for both intricate runs and supportive grooves. Outfitted with Player II Noiseless™ Jazz Bass pickups, this bass produces the growl and punch expected from a Jazz Bass® without the hum. The newly added active preamp with a passive tone control and 3-band EQ gives you expansive tone-shaping power, with a mini toggle switch for seamless switching between active and passive modes.
