The Fender® American Vintage II series delivers an incredibly authentic representation of the groundbreaking designs that transformed music history. By 1963, a new combination of tonewoods united the punch and clarity of alder with the warmth of a round-lam rosewood fingerboard, enhancing the iconic Tele® twang. The American Vintage II 1963 Telecaster® features Pure Vintage '63 Telecaster pickups, a triple threaded-steel saddle bridge, and a comfortable "C"-shaped maple neck, faithfully reproducing the classic tone and feel of the original. True to 1963 production, this Telecaster includes clay dots (narrowly spaced at the 12th fret), a 7.25" radius fingerboard, in a stunning Surf Green finish over alder.
