Now at Haggerty’s Music in Rapid City, SD, the Martin Custom Shop 000 Acoustic in Extra Figured Koa is a stunning blend of craftsmanship, elegance, and rich, resonant tone. This custom-built guitar features a top and body crafted from exceptionally figured Koa, finished in a clear, gloss coat that highlights the natural beauty of the wood grain, while the satin neck provides a smooth playing experience.

The European Flamed Maple binding gives it a refined edge, and the one-ring rosette, with black and maple fiber and a .125 pearl inlay, adds a touch of subtle luxury. The bridge, made of black ebony in a modern pyramid style, is paired with white bridge pins adorned with Paua accents, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality. Scalloped spruce bracing at 5/16” offers superior support and resonance, allowing the premium Koa top to sing with a warm, vibrant voice.

The neck, with a comfortable low profile and classic 30s-style heel, features a black ebony fingerboard with diamond and squares short inlays set in Paua, for a refined look that’s both vintage-inspired and distinctly modern. Spacing is set at 1 3/4” at the nut, 2 1/4” at the 12th fret, and 2 1/4” at the bridge, allowing for easy fingerstyle play and excellent balance. The slotted headstock with square slots adds an old-world charm, completed by an Old Style Gold Small decal on the headplate. A bone nut provides optimal tone and tuning stability, making this a true workhorse in addition to its aesthetic beauty.

Without electronics, this guitar is purely acoustic, allowing its natural tone to shine. This Martin Custom Shop 000 comes with a hardshell case to keep it protected and ready for any setting, whether at home or on stage.
