The Taylor Custom Shop C14ce B5042 from the 2025 Catch Event #42 is built for players who want their guitar to reflect not only impeccable tone, but also rare tonewoods and master-level craftsmanship. Available now at Haggerty's Music, this Grand Auditorium acoustic/electric model features a stunning combination of figured Blackheart sassafras back and sides and a premium Bearclaw Sitka spruce top, finished in an all-over shaded edgeburst for rich visual depth. A beveled armrest of Honduran rosewood adds ergonomic comfort, enhancing playability for long sessions on stage or in the studio. This custom model also showcases refined details like a "Spotted Cow" figured ebony fretboard, ebony bridge pins with abalone dots, and a colorful ebony peghead veneer with abalone logo. A Venetian cutaway provides smooth upper-fret access, while Taylor’s high-performance construction ensures articulate tone with warmth and clarity.
