The ART HQ-31 is a professional single-channel 31-band graphic equalizer designed to give engineers precise control over their sound while offering exceptional value. At its core is ART’s proprietary FDC (Feedback Detection Circuitry), which uses LED indicators to instantly show the frequencies responsible for feedback, allowing users to quickly adjust the corresponding slider and eliminate problem areas with minimal tonal sacrifice. The FDC also doubles as a spectrum viewer, giving insight into the system’s “hot spots” during setup or sound check, making it easier to tune a room and optimize system performance before the show begins.

Built with constant-Q filtering, variable high and low-pass filters, and +/- 6 dB or +/- 12 dB boost/cut options, the HQ-31 offers remarkable flexibility for live sound, recording studios, installations, and worship spaces. Features like equalizer output level metering, signal clip indicators, a ground lift switch, and independent level/bypass controls ensure reliable performance and ease of use.
