The Gibson ES-330 is renowned for its unique tone, comfortable feel, and timeless design, making it a favorite for musicians seeking a versatile, vintage-inspired ES™-style guitar. Closely related to the Epiphone Casino™, the ES-330 features a lightweight, fully hollow thinline body crafted from 3-ply maple/poplar/maple. This design, along with the trapeze tailpiece and deep-set neck, enhances its resonance and warmth. The mahogany neck has a Rounded “C” profile, paired with a rosewood fretboard, acrylic small block inlays, and 22 medium jumbo frets, offering comfort across the 12” radius whether you're playing open chords or bending high notes. Its trapeze tailpiece adds visual and tonal character, while the adjustable ABR-1 bridge ensures precise intonation. The Vintage Deluxe tuners with white buttons, combined with a Graph Tech® nut, help keep tuning stable and add to its classic aesthetic.

The ES-330’s sound is driven by two Dogear P-90 pickups, wired to 500k potentiometers and Orange Drop® capacitors. These pickups deliver bright, clear tones when clean and aggressive, snarling tones when pushed into overdrive. Though fully hollow guitars like the ES-330 are more prone to feedback, with careful technique, it handles gain beautifully, providing rich sustain and a singing quality that sets it apart. Perfect for blues, Americana, 60s pop, country, jazz, and rock, the ES-330 shines both on stage and in the studio. It’s also beloved as a songwriting tool and an ideal "couch guitar" for its unplugged acoustic qualities.
